Tesco, Aldi, Asda and Morrisons issue food recalls over salmonella and allergy fears

Aldi said it's recalling packs of frozen chicken after an investigation found a number of batches may contain traces of salmonella.

Tesco, meanwhile, is recalling a batch of its Finest Festive Belgian Dark Chocolate Brazil Nuts.

The Food Standards Agency issued the warnings across several supermarkets, with even vegan hotdogs being recalled at one major grocer.

It said some of the products contain ingredients that are not mentioned on the label, while others could contain harmful bacteria.

When a product is recalled, for any reason, the Food Standards Agency shares details on what you should do if you have bought the item, as well as detailed information on why the product is being pulled from shelves.

It said anyone with any of the below items should visit their nearest supermarket for a full refund or exchange.
