Tiger Woods live: Updates, tracker as golf icon moves up Augusta leaderboard Friday
Tiger Wood's watch is in full effect with the large crowds rallying around him as he got off to an excellent start in the first round of The 2024 Masters and ended the day on a good note with a score of -1 (51) through 13 as the tournament was postponed for light.
During a pre-tournament interview, Woods acknowledged the odds against him but stated that he believes he has "one more Masters win in him." Wood is focused on winning his sixth Masters title, which would tie him with Jack Nicklaus for the most Masters wins.
After Round 2 on Friday, Woods is on track to make his 24th consecutive cut at the Masters, breaking the record set by Fred Couples and Gary Player, who previously held the record at 23 consecutive cuts.
