What fans did to FIFA president Gianni Infantino during England's World Cup win over Wales

Neither side were able to break the deadlock in the first half but two quick-fire goals in the second half took the game away from Wales. Rashford fired the ball into the back of the net from a free-kick before Harry Kane pounced on Ben Davies' defensive error, before drilling the ball across the penalty box for Foden to tuck home and make it 2-0.

Rashford added his second and England's third with a fine finish inside the penalty box in the 68th minute as substitute Kalvin Phillips grabbed the assist. Gareth Southgate's side will now take on Senegal in the round of 16 stage with the Three Lions sat top of Group B on seven points.

As time ticked away in the match with England controlling possession and Southgate handing a number of players vital minutes, the FIFA president appeared on the big screens around the stadium. Fans spotted Infantino making an appearance and responded with a chorus of boos aimed in his direction.

Infantino has been very vocal on key issues surrounding the World Cup in Qatar, including an extraordinary rant aimed at Western Europe's 'hypocrisy' a day before the tournament began on Sunday, November 18. FIFA's decision to threaten players who wanted to wear the OneLove armband with potential sanctions, leading to Harry Kane and Manuel Neuer having to wear FIFA's own 'no discrimination' armband instead.

Fans made their opinions very clear as they booed the FIFA president, which led to no response from Infantino.
